Fenix utgivning prisas

Vi är mycket stolta och glada över nyheten att Fenix Förlag är en av prismottagarna i Sheikh Hamad Translation Awards 2020. Priset instiftades 2015 för att hedra översättare och belysa deras roll i att stärka vänskapsband och samarbete mellan människor och nationer.

Fenix utgivning prisades stort i kategorin "översättningsfrämjande". Ett särskilt omnämnande fick Ännu ett liv av Theodor Kallifatides – översatt av Flora Majdalawi.

With great honour and gratitude, we received the news of being one of the winners in the prestigious Sheikh Hamad Translation Awards for 2020.

The award, established in 2015, seeks to honour translators and acknowledge their role in strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation among peoples and nations of the world.

Fenix got the prize in the translation encouragement category because of our achievement in publishing which was highly commended. A special mention was made of the translation of “Another Life” by Theodor Kallifatides, translated by Flora Majdalawi.
